Things to Settle a Kicking Baby within the direction of Womb


When possible pregnant, well-meaning people will often tell you a similar thing - 'Oh, it is so wonderful when you have the baby move; it's usually magical feeling'. Whilst this is of course true, for those of our service who've spent hours feeling resembling they were being beaten over inside, the magical going through can pall quite for instance. For something with only tiny legs uniform tinier feet, a baby grants some kicks of astonishing power and force!

Of means, babies in the tummy may kick for certain reasons (we assume - as there is no-one to actually do a general market trends in utero). Go for a walk

If you're stuck in one location, like public transport, you could try rocking or swaying back and forth (ignore the strange looks may not get).

Avoid caffeine and spicy foods

You shouldn't be having too much caffeine anyway or possibly small amount may excite your baby to extra purpose. Spices might produce so as well effect (as well as offer you terrible heartburn).

Play soothing music

There tend to be some studies that result in unborn babies were calmed by paying attention to classical music. It results in being worth a try, if only because it is able to calm you down a little too.

Do something to distract yourself

Try while keeping your focus your mind on something in comparison to what the kicks and various discomfort might magically lessen (a useful trick in order to apply in labour too).

In the total though, there's only so much strive and do to settle your baby within the womb.
